Panoramic Software Inc. has created a cross platform technology to easily browse, edit and interact with almost every popular social network in use today (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Youtube, Flickr, 500pix, Bing, Google News, Google+, Groupon, Yelp, Instagram, iTunes, RSS, etc.).  By combining certain social actions (streaming, sharing, searching, posting, etc.) into a framework, Panoramic is able to create unique experiences and applications for many real world scenarios.  To date, 27 social services are fully supported, and with a plugin technology”, adding and updating the services are done with ease.  The engine has also been created with full cross platform compatibility and will work on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Desktop, and Web.

Additionally, Panoramic created a “Media Upload” (images, audio, video) framework that can effectively handle all the different upload scenarios (authentications, multi-part binary uploads, low network environments, etc.).  This is a full file upload mechanism that can handle asynchronous uploads, percentage upload monitoring, asynchronous cancels, multi-part binary uploads, all with different authentication methods.

Grid Layout Engine (iOS) v1.0

Displaying and organizing a multitude of dynamic information is notoriously difficult on iOS.  Downloading content (images, video, text), resizing, and laying it out can become a time consuming task for any development firm.  Panoramic has created an automatic grid layout engine to simplify user interface creation.  Developers simply enter one or more layout templates for their content and the engine will “take care of the rest”.  Firms requiring high quality magazine-like displays will benefit greatly from this technology.
